Where To Go From Here?
I've already finished my first album. Got the first two tracks to my second. Where do I go from here? How do I continue the success that I have achieved thus far? I don't know.

Targeted Individual Anthem #14
Nice Life
by John Jenkins
Verse 1
Something is
happening
and it's
something big
From figs
of thistles
to thistles
of figs.
My gangstalkers
stopped washing
over me
Now isn't that nice?
My gangstalkers
stopped trying to
injure me
I paid the price.
Bridge 1 2x
My mother called me
and said
Boy I'm sorry I left you
My father called me
and said
I'm sorry that I beat you
Chorus 2x
Your freedom is waiting
for you
You don't have to like what
you've been going through
Your ife never should've been
so hurtful and hard
You can't understand it 'cause
You are just so scarred
Verse 2
Something is
happening
and it's
something that's true
I do whatever
I want now
And I don't
fear abuse.
My gangstalkers
stopped washing
over me
Now isn't that grand?
My gangstalkers
stopped washing
over me
I'm as happy as I can be.
Bridge 2 4x
My brother called me on the phone
He said I shouldn't be alone.
My sister called me again.
Apologized for what she did.
Chorus 2x

Targeted Individual Anthem #13
Thank You
by John Jenkins
Chorus 2x
Thank you
ganstalkers
You saved
my life
If you hadn't
found me
I would
have died.
Before this
all started
I've lived
a lie.
Now that
I've departed
I live
my life
Verse
It's better just
being alone
than being
hit.
It's better
eating Campbell's
soup than
eating it.
It's better
playing videogames
Than being
on trial.
It's better
losing megabytes
then losing
your life.
Chorus 2x
It's better
taking welfare
Than taking
fire
It's better
than feeling like
you're on
The Wire.
It's better
in Chicago
than in
The Pen.
It's better
on your own road
Then facing
the end
Chorus 4x

Oh Tupac Wherefore Art Thou Music?
The reason why I'm so much in a hurry to release all of my songs is because of my favorite musician, Tupac. When he died, he had 300 unreleased songs. And some of these songs were better than rappers' entire CAREERS. If he had released everything, he would've been the first Hip Hop billionaire, not Jay Z. That's why I release everything. The more the better.
Finished First Album!
I don't know what it was. I was sleeping one day in April or May, and I just got up and started writing songs. I wrote 5 songs in 24 hours. And then soon I was at ten. Now I've got an entire album. Crazy Sexy Cool, the album which is my all-time favorite, has sixteen tracks, but FOUR of them are interludes. So, I would say that I should maybe have four interludes on my album. I've got some ideas.
But this was an amazing experience. To have the ability. I've actually tried to make an album before. I ways gave up after a few songs. Perhaps, this time was different because I was actually STUDYING words, instead of thinking that I knew it all. I don't know what it was. Maybe it's because this is something that I actually know. Something that I have intimate knowledge on, and I'm not just trying to fake coolness like with my previous albums (I was trying to be a Gangsta Rapper before. I didn't work out).
I want to write a hundred TI songs.

Targeted Individual Anthem #12
Question Time
by John Jenkins
Gloria,
Let me ask you a question, now
Why didn't you write your masterpiece?
I wrote my first novel
Eight years after I became a target
And I've been writing ever since
Michael Barden,
How did you keep your heart from hardening?
How'd you forgive your enemies?
Through no effort of my own,
I avoided prison entirely.
And now I'm getting back on my feet.
Tina Plakinger,
Tell me how it happened to her
Why didn't you give up then?
I'm stayin' in Chicago now
There's quite a lot of rules to follow, now
I keep asking myself when
I never, ever thought I'd die with
a big old thorn up in my eye.
And that the people around me
Wouldn't see the truth.
But then I realize,
That my eyes were on the prize.
That's how I got through
This abuse.

Sweet Success
by John Jenkins
Verse 1
Make success a
Foregone conclusion
Don't fall prey to
The TI delusion
Even if you're in
An institution
Keep looking for
Your rockin' solution
Make success a
Foregone conclusion
And rid your life of
Strife and confusion
Keep working through your
Life's destitution.
And then you will
Find your solution.
Instrumental
Verse 2
An equal life was
Not meant for caring
Your days of strife were
Not meant for sparing
You're caring when you
Should just be daring
And even though it's
Too hard for sharing
Your love is hard and
There's no comparing
Your mind just wasn't
Built for this snaring
I can't believe that you
Keep comparing
And even though your
Heart is despairing
Instrumental
Verse 3
Our families are not
Worth comparing
Our coffin, it is
Not worth preparing
So tell me, why are
You still despairing
What's this dogma that
You seem to be marrying
If you go home, you
Will go to prison
They'll cut your hair and
Wipe out your vision
You'll the miss the sun
And then miss your mission
And all because it
Could not be given.
